Chet Chea, MD, CEO

 

Dr. Chea is the CEO and co-founder of Aribots.  As an infectious disease specialist, Dr. Chea is appointed Director of Infectious Disease for Vibra Hospitals in the Bay Area. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College/Cornell University and fellowship in Infectious Disease at SUNY Upstate Medical University and has almost 15 years experience in treating patients with complex infections. Dr. Chea feels that modern technology can profoundly assist physicians and healthcare personnel in their daily tasks to allow doctors more time to cover a greater number of patients per day as well as increase quality time with their patients during consultations. Most physicians agree that almost all current technologies in medicine have significant shortcomings and extremely complex UI that nontechnical, medical personnel constantly struggle to use everyday.  Dr. Chea, therefore, firmly believes that technologies built by physicians themselves will solve the ongoing issues that they face with existing technologies.

Dr. Chea has also successfully founded enBRIDGEment, Inc, an enrichment program for kids that has spread to many schools, community centers and recreation centers throughout the Bay Area and currently has thousands with students. enBRIDGEment is collaborating with Geniebook from Asia to bring its enrichment program to Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam

Dr. Chea has also worked with and been an advisor for other startups including Nouslogic and imi. Dr. Chea assisted in Nouslogic's new development of real-time handwashing monitoring system for healthcare facilities such as hospitals and medical clinics. imi is a startup in medical education utilizing VR and AI.

Dana Nguyen, JD, COO

 

Ms. Nguyen is the COO and co-founder of Aribots.  She worked as an Intellectual Property attorney for large law firms such as Greenberg Traurig in the metropolitan areas of Los Angeles and Orange County where she prosecuted patents and represented Fortune 500 companies including Qualcomm, Motorola, and Broadcom. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Nguyen graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering and worked as a device engineer. Ms. Nguyen was also a patent consultant for multi-billion dollar company Intellectual Ventures in Mountain Veiw, CA. She is quite familiar with the startup ecosystem in the Bay Area and co-founded with Dr. Barchuk a healthcare company BARCHUK, LLC, whose systems are currently licensed in several hospitals throughout the US and have assisted numerous patients wean off ventilations to breath on their own.

Deanna Brown, JD,

General Counsel

​Ms. Brown has been an IP licensing/corporate attorney with nearly 20 years working for large law firms including Wilson Sonsini Goodrich Rosati in the Bay Area. She was the Senior Corporate Counsel for semiconductor company Skyworks Solutions where she advised executive team of public company and international subsidiaries on enterprise-driven legal issues. Her practice focuses on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, technology licensing, contract negotiation, joint venture, corporate governance, and start-ups.  Her experience includes high profile cases such as the $250M purchase of Panasonic Corporation’s filter business in Kadoma, Japan.

Anupam Acharya, Technology Advisor

Anupam has 5+ years of leadership experience in Indian startup ecosystem where he has co-founded one tech startup, built a successful business vertical with more than $2+ million of annual revenue in less than 8 months and managed another business vertical as business and product head for more than 2 years for a leading e-commerce and supply chain company (valuation of $800+ million). He has strong hands-on product and business management experience with responsibilities in Tech product development, operations,  business development and enterprise sales. Anupam is a graduate of Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT).

Britta Denman, MD,

Medical Director

Dr. Denman is the Medical Director of Aribots and leads our team of physicians in providing medical guidelines and advice to our engineers during development.  Dr. Denman is an infectious disease specialist who received her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice for nearly 20 years.

Ken Collinsworth, MD 
Dr. Collinsworth is a cardiologist. He completed his fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center and University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Collinsworth has over 30 years of experience treating patients with primary care and cardiac issues.

Meenakshi Pant, MBA, MS,

Project Manager

Meenakshi Pant has 18 years of progressive leadership experience in U.S.A., Canada and India where she accomplished various management tasks and initiated new projects proactively. She has strong hands-on IT management experience with responsibilities that span process improvement, project management, operations, and business development. Previously, she worked as a Consultant in India, and before that as a Business Manager for Global Operations at Avaya in Denver, Colorado. Meenakshi holds an M.B.A. and M.S. in Information Management from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.  Meenakshi loves challenges and working with brilliant people to find creative solutions.has been in practice for nearly 20 years.

John Cranshaw, MD

Dr. Cranshaw an internal medicine specialist in San Francisco, CA and has been practicing for almost 30 years. He graduated from Harvard Medical School and Stanford University.

Deborah Doherty, MD 

Dr. Doherty specializes in the field of rehabilitation medicine with a focus on brain injury rehab. Her primary area of practice is hospital-based rehabilitation for individuals who have sustained severe brain injuries from trauma, anoxia, meningitis, and others. She has published numerous times in the area of vegetative state and minimally conscious state.  She was appointed Medical Director of Brain Injury at Kentfield Hospital for almost 30 years and currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at CareMeridian.  Dr. Doherty completed her residency at Stanford University.

Curtis K. Roebken, MD

Dr. Roebken graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine and has extensive experience in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Roebken's combined experience includes over 30 years in private practice as well as inpatient ICU and critical care hospital settings. Dr. Roebken serves as Chief of Staff of at Vibra Hospitals in the Bay Area. 

Doris Purcell, M.D.

Dr. Purcell is an internal medicine physician. Her primary focus has been in hospital medicine for almost 15 years.

David Palestrant, MD 

Dr. David Palestrant, MD is Board Certified in Neurocritical Care, Vascular Neurology, Critical Medicine and Neurology. He has spent his career taking care of patients with severe brain injuries and is a leader in the development of programs to support patients transitioning from neuro intensive care units. The goal of these hospital based programs is to provide the support and medical expertise needed to ensure patients transitioning from the neuro ICU the best chance for maximal recovery.

Donald Blair, MD 

Dr. Blair was the mentor to our CEO during his fellowship in Infectious Disease. Dr. Blair brings a wealth of knowledge from his 50+ years of practicing internal medicine and infectious disease. Not only did Dr. Blair mentor Dr. Chea in the practice of medicine but also profoundly influenced Dr. Chea's desire to provide the best and highest standard of care to his patients.  Dr. Chea attributes his fervor for patient advocacy to the teachings of his mentor.  

Osas Nosa-Idahosa, PharmD. 

Dr. Osas has over a decade of experience in clinical pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, and medication therapy management. His areas of expertise include pharmacokinetics, chemotherapy, pediatrics, geriatrics, critical care, hospice and pain management. He was Director of Pharmacy at Kentfield Hospitals in Kentfield and San Francisco and currently is the Director of Pharmacy at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in the Bay Area.
